What is the Plymouth Arts & Recreation Center?

PARC is Plymouth’s new art, cultural, recreational, and social center. It is home to local artists and performers, great educational opportunities, fun fitness classes and activities, a fabulous aquatic center, a gym, and even a 55+ social scene.

What Can You Do at PARC?

What can’t you do at PARC? You can admire the works of local artists. Catch a performance of a local musician or group. Take a dance or theater class. Sign up for a design class. Stay active all year round with great group fitness classes. Learn to cook with a culinary arts class. Head to the pool for open swim. Take on friends at a game of pickleball. Sign the kids up for a swim class. There really is something for everyone!

PARC is home to several local artists’ studios, where you can drop by to admire their work or get involved yourself with a class.There is also a Music Academy, several music studios, and even the Michigan Philharmonic. You can take dance lessons, theatre lessons, or even participate in a theatrical production of Main Street Opera Theatre.

Culinary Arts & Education at PARC

PARC is home to the College for Creative Studies, which hosts several programs designed for teens, but also offers continuing education classes for adults. Two local culinary programs also offer group cooking classes and events for all ages.

Recreation & Fitness
